Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute carpentry projects effectively.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinator and Sub-Contractors to ensure timely project completion and adherence to specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes, according to project requirements.
• Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and mouldings, with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior carpenters, apprentices and labourers as needed.

Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent carpentry skills, including framing and finishing.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from varying job sites.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
