Youth Job Connection (YJC) is a program specifically for youth aged 15-29 who may face multiple barriers to finding employment. It is a combination of pre-employment workshops and a work placement with the ultimate goal of the youth returning to school or continuing in a job. Youth are paid while completing workshop hours and while on placement. They will also be given the opportunity to complete different areas of training for free.
The summer version is Youth Job Connection Summer (YJC-S) and is available to youth aged 15-18. The youth in this program will also be paid to complete workshop hours and will also be placed in a work placement until they return to school in the fall.
