Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, and other pathways.
- Operate shovels, scrapers, small and large snowblowers, and apply salt as needed.
- Ensure pathways are properly cleared to prevent slips and falls.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues or needed repairs.
- Work efficiently and effectively in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- Ability to work in cold and potentially harsh weather conditions.
- Previous experience with snow removal equipment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of power tools is an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License is an asset.
- Must have safety boots and glasses.
- Must be a self-starter – capable of performing duties without constant supervision.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and job task planning/organizing skills.
