WE’RE HIRING! Join the BREW CREW this summer and work at the anchor location (Firehall, 350 – 2nd Street South) and Brewers Village at 1415 Valley Drive. Lake of the Woods Brewing Company is a locally owned and operated company in Kenora, Ontario that provides distinctive guest experiences at two locations in the heart of cottage country and the greater Lake of the Woods region.
This job is generously supported by the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre. To qualify for this job you must be available to work, full-time hours from May 5 to August 22, 2025. You will be expected to participate fully in youth requirements and youth effect events. The successful candidate must be between the ages of 18-29.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
- Assist in all aspects of the planning and implementation of special events and site activations at the Brewers Village (BV), and at times at the anchor location – the Firehall at 350, 2nd Street South
- Assist in promoting and marketing the strategic assets of Lake of the Woods Brewing Company; including the food concept sea can and beer bar at the Brewers Village
- Create networks and partnerships with community organizations, outfitters, third party vendors, and businesses – in the planning of site activations at the Brewers Village (eg. yoga sessions, corn hole league play, private parties, live music series, etc)
- Assist in promoting the special events and site activations, by collaborating with the marketing team, in the creation and dissemination of social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc)
- Develop social media content, that acts as a catalyst to raise awareness, increase sales and visitations to the Brewers Village and when needed, the anchor location (The Firehall, at 350, 2nd Street South)
- Play an active role at special events and site activations, acting at an ambassador for Lake of the Woods Brewing Company – furthering the goals and objectives of the Brewers Village as Kenora’s outdoor gathering hub
- Maintain personal and positive business relationships with all vendors on site
- Assist in the coordination of site activations and special events, on site at the BV
- Maintain personal and positive business relationships with all vendors on site
- Keep clear and open lines of communication with all department of Lake of the Woods Brewing Company to effectively meet the goals and objectives of the Brewers Village as Kenora’s Outdoor Gathering Hub
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- Must be Smart Serve certified or willing to complete certification.

- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to exceed in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter who takes initiative and likes to see a project through from start to finish.
