For the YJC Program, you must be:
- a youth between the ages of 15-29 at the time of registration;
- a resident of Ontario;
- Eligible to work in Canada;
- Unemployed;
- Not participating in full-time training or education
- *Please note that individuals 15-18 must be legally excused from attending high school*
While the program is open to all eligible youth, the intention is to help youth who are experiencing significant employment barriers.
For the YJC-S Program, you must be:
- a youth between the ages of 15-18 at the time of registration;
- a resident of Ontario;
- Eligible to work in Canada;
- a high school student who is staying in school, returning to school, or going to post secondary
While the program is open to all eligible youth, the intention is to help youth who have a lower likelihood of finding a summer job by themselves.
Both programs are subject to eligibility and suitability requirements.
