Duties of this LEAP Job Posting: You will:
- Keep contact lists and processes up to date
- Manage paperwork, track deadlines, and follow up on requests
- Format documents and prepare reports for the team
- Organize and track mail and courier services
- Update and monitor databases
- Provide research and support for projects
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting: Mandatory
- You must have a valid Class G driver's licence or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario and the ability to travel.
Administrative Skills and Experience:
- You have knowledge of standard office and filing procedures to provide administrative and organizational support
- You have demonstrated ability/experience providing office administrative and organizational skills to meet priorities and deadlines, including coordinating with other sections and staff working in multiple locations
- You have computer skills to create/maintain spreadsheets and databases, and to create reports and general correspondences
Judgement and Multi-tasking Skills:
- You can work independently, as well as operate effectively as member of a team
- You have judgment and discretionary skills to deal with confidential, legal and sensitive information within a highly sensitive environment
- You have multi-tasking and coordinating skills to prioritize a variety of competing tasks
Research and Analytical Skills:
- You can research and compile information, explore alternatives and prepare/process reports
- You have mathematical/calculation skills to process and check expense accounts and invoices.
- You can ensure accuracy and attention to detail
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- You have demonstrated communication skills and diplomacy to deal with the public and different client group
- You have interpersonal skills to provide tactful responses to a wide variety of inquiries from staff and external contacts.
