Reports to the Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Must be a self-motivated, self-directed worker who requires minimal supervision with the ability to multi-task duties and work under pressure.
- Cooking and Preparing Skills: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes and other foods, Work with minimal supervision, Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, Streamer, Grill etc.), clean kitchen and work areas, Wash dishes if needed
- Kitchen Helping Skills: Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Handle and store cleaning products.
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Credentials: Food Handlers Certificate, WHMIS Experience: Experience an asset.
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
