As an experienced welder at Riverview, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to assemble, fabricate, and repair metal components. You will work with a variety of metals, such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, and will be required to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate welding.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
  • Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, to fabricate and assemble metal components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth project completion Maintain and repair welding equipment as necessary
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder in a multifaceted environment
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Knowledge of welding equipment and its maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team or individually
  • Valid welding certifications or licenses (e.g., CWB certification) preferred
  • Additional technical certifications or training is a plus
