Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
- The GIS/Engineering Student will gain valuable experience by completing a variety of projects for the engineering department including inspections of City sidewalks, regulatory signage, and other data collection items. Additionally, you will assist with field inspections, surveying, and map creation as required.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- must be in enrolled in school full time
- interest or education in engineering, GIS, or related field would be an asset
- must be able to work outdoors in a variety of climates
- knowledge of computer programs, GIS software would be an asset
- G2 License or higher
- good communication skills with ability to follow written and oral instructions
- ability to work independently or as a team
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
