Mentored Work Placement/Health Administrative Assistant

Grand Council Treaty #3 is hiring a Mentored Work Placement/Health Administrative Assistant (6 week contract)!

Grand Council Treaty #3 offers an exceptional learning opportunity for Treaty 3 youth with excellent organizational and time management skills. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the GCT#3 Health staff to ensure that the services provided in an effective manner. The candidate will assist the Health staff with the co-ordination of functions and special events as required, assist with the distribution of information to Treaty 3 communities via faxes, memos and distribution. The Candidate will also provide support to the Health Manager and undertake a variety of activities/initiatives within the office.

Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:

Under the Youth Mentorship Work Program, candidates must be youth aged 15-30 who are not in school, unemployed or underemployed. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS outlook. Punctual, organized and reliable with courteous manners to the public. Ability to communicate in Anishinaabemowin is considered an asset.
