Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
Personal Assistants provide support for all aspects of daily living to individuals with physical disabilities in the community through our Outreach Program.
Duties will include assisting with activities of daily living according to personal needs and direction.
- Personal Care (may include bathing, transferring, bladder/bowel routines)
- Meal preparation
- Housekeeping
- Running errands
25 hours per week with additional hours as needed. Immediate start dates.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
The successful applicant is required to have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable vulnerable sector police records check, as well as the ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
Bilingualism (Advanced level English / French) is required. All candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if there are no successful bilingual (English / French) candidates.
Competitive wage, $25.88 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation or vacation accrual option.
