The Service Advisor will be responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling recommended or required services to customers. He or she will act as our first-line customer relations and service representative. The Service Advisor is responsible for gathering and interpreting information on vehicle condition from the Service Technicians to advise the customer on recommended or urgently required services. The Service Advisor will communicate this information in a professional manner, explaining the benefits of services and the potential outcomes of postponing repairs. The successful candidate will have effective communication skills; demonstrate active listening skills and exhibit customer service excellence with external clients and internal staff
Computer proficiency, reading, writing/typing, using office equipment. Experience in the automotive field and customer service would be an asset but not required.
Must be a team player.
Experience preferred but willing to train the right person. Must be dependable and available Monday to Friday.
