Iskatewizaagegan Independent First Nation is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fulfill the responsibility of Store Manager for Shoal Lake Landing and Bubbles Laundromat. This position involves managing the daily operations of the Landing Store, Bubbles Laundromat and this also includes performing a variety of business management related activities that focus on making decisions to maximize profits. The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for staff and a clean shopping experience for customers.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
- Managing daily operations of the store, including hiring, reviewing staff performance and evaluations and scheduling
- Ensure all staff, including relief workers, are properly trained
- Mentor team and supervise to ensure every team member is contributing to a safe and clean work environment
- Order merchandise and maintain adequate inventory
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly duties and reports including required inventory checks
- Analyze inventory data to adjust ordering
- Liaise with Human Resource Liaison regarding Personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
- Ensure proper signage in store and with inventory
- Maintenance of buildings and systems on site
- Complete Manager training such WMHIS, etc.
- Other duties as required, within the scope of the position
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- Must have a Secondary School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Record Keeping experience is an asset
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Retail Management position
- Experience with implementing Policies and Procedures
- Demonstrated competency with MS Office and related software applications are essential
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale Systems
- Knowledge of Inventory Control, Cash Management and Cash Handling procedures
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Demonstrated experience working independently as well as within a Multi-Disciplinary Team
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, being highly organized and setting priorities in a fast paced and challenging work environment
- Possess a Valid Driver’s License and an Insured Vehicle
- Willing to travel for work related purposes
- Must be able to work flexible schedule and be on-call
