Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
Want to be part of Kenora’s biggest summer events? Summer Tourism Counsellors will act as the first point of contact for visitors at the Discovery Centre or downtown Pavilion and provide information about local attractions, accommodations, and events in the Kenora area. They will also assist with local events through the summer.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- Must be enrolled full time in school
- G2 Driver’s License or higher
- Knowledge of Kenora attractions, events, and accommodations
- Cash handling and computer skills
- Good communication skills with ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
