Do you want to be a helper in the mental health and addictions field?

We are looking for dedicated support workers to lead and be role models to our residents. We are interested in hiring people who love to bring their own experiences and passions into the workplace to teach residents new skills (such as: life skills, cooking/baking, beading, sewing, etc.). Rewards offered to staff are training opportunities, benefits for employees in a rotation of 24 hours per week or more, and the ability to move through different environments within the organization.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

You will be a part of the recovery journey of the people we see come through our doors; although challenging, the job is rewarding as you get to connect with people of all walks of life, support people through their recovery journey, and expand your knowledge around addiction and recovery.


Additional Duties:

  • Ensure residents are following house rules
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with residents
  • Work together with residents to overcome barriers
  • Observing and documenting appropriately
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
  • Working knowledge of mental health and addictions
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Reliable attendance record
  • Negative vulnerable sector check


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Driver’s license
  • Bilingual (Ojibway and English)
