Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:
Hiring a punctual full time upholster who can sew or is willing to learn in a timely fashion. The individual must be comfortable using electric tools such as drills, saws and sanders to take apart boat seats or reconstruct. Task include cutting and measuring fabric, foam and wood with the ability to lift 20-80 lbs. The individual will learn to make custom boat tops and covers along with reupholstering seats and other outdoor furnishings.
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
- Valid Driver’s license; must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Follow instruction and is able to work well with others
- Responsible to keep a clean work station
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling
