The Administrative Assistance provides support to the management team, quality improvement team and the SCFHT program leads by creating promotional materials, brochure and the documentation and disbursement of meeting minutes. This position also has the responsibility of maintaining the corporate webpage, social media platforms and to support the promotion of health programs, services, information and/or events offered by the Sunset Country Family Health Team. This position may be required to assist with compiling stats and data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports. This position is part of the administration and finance team and provides coverage when and where required.

Duties of this LEAP Job Posting:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Advertising and Health Promotion
    -Maintain corporate website & social medial
    -Promote SCFHT programs and health campaigns through regular updates on our webpage and social media platforms and in person if required.
    -Create promotional materials
    -Promote and assist in coordinating SCFHT events
    -Produce and distribute a quarterly corporate newsletter for the SCFHT stakeholders
  • Program and Administrative support
    -Record and circulate minutes for all SCFHT meetings, committees and groups
  • Provide clerical support to program and administration team as requires
  • Quality Improvements Support
    -Assist with monthly, quarterly and annually program reporting
    -Collect and compile data as requested
    -Provide administrative support to the Quality Improvement Committee
  • Ontario Tele-medicine Network Coordinator
    -Coordination of Ontario Tele-medicine Network appointments
  • Patient Communications
    -Follow up with patients regarding appointments, referral, groups, programs or events that may be beneficial based on their health needs
    -Schedule patient appointments as required
  • Consistently perform day to day administrative functions and general office duties
Qualifications for this LEAP Job Posting:
  • Office Administrative certificate or 5+ years’ experience in an office administrative role
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrative excellence in customer/patient service
  • The following are not required but would be an asset (Basic Medical terminology, Experience in Electronical
  • Medical Records (EMR) software, Experience in accounting software (Simply Accounting)
