PREFERRED:
- Completed degree in Human Resources
Candidates with alternate qualifications may also be considered:
- Business Administration degree or a related field from a post-secondary institution.
- Prior experience in Human Resources, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Skills:
- Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals including; youth, staff, and stakeholders.
- Applicants must have extensive knowledge and/or training in workplace Health and Safety, including Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Possession of a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
- Applicants must have familiarity with youth custodial programs and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and considerations involved.
- Applicants must have an understanding of licensing requirements and standards set by the appropriate regulatory bodies overseeing youth in custody programs, or relatable experience.
